Ellen Makkas holds a Masters of Science in Higher Education with a supporting focus in Project Management from Capella University, Summa Cum Laude, and a Bachelors of Science in Game Design & Development with a Minor in Supporting Technologies from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), Summa Cum Laude.

Ellen Makkas has been instructing in Higher Education since 2013. She previously owned businesses before her decision to advance her education which has influenced her direction to focus her career in the pursuit of supporting and guiding others on their professional journey.
